Every night, Erik the baker listens to the radio in his bakery. Just once, he would love to come through and tell a joke during the comedy programme. His family doesn’t want to hear his jokes; in fact, when he’s with them during the day, Erik doesn’t seem all there. A sensitive film about alienation, suppressed feelings and the difficulty involved with escaping isolation.
