Dark Biosphere

The immersive Fulldome production “Dark Biosphere” takes the audience into the depths of the Earth's crust, where life survives on minimal amounts of water and without light or air. Microorganisms there defy extreme conditions, and challenge our understanding of what life is. The work combines impressive visuals, sophisticated graphic animations, and innovative sound design to create an atmospherically dense narrative. This isn’t just about the world deep beneath our feet; the question is whether life could also exist under similar conditions on other planets. “Dark Biosphere” inspires us to wonder, reflect, and continue exploring. The show celebrates the joy of scientific discovery and broadens our view of what can be considered life – on Earth, and perhaps also in space.
