This short is the only colour film Peter Weiss ever made. It uses surrealistic images of a fantastical Faust figure in his laboratory, portraying a lunatic whose thoughts are reflected with distorting lenses, collages, and electronic music (by Weiss himself). Jan Christer Bengtsson wrote, “this is a blunt, poetic rendering of the inner experiences of an artist”.
