This is a stylised, surrealistic film with a tableaux aesthetic about the awakening of erotic desire in an amorous relationship between a man and a woman. “Weiss uses optical distortion, prism-like refraction, and multiple exposure. Cubes, crystals, lines, leaves, and spheres are surrealistic elements that are reminiscent of his drawings” (Jan Christer Bengtsson).
