Dublin, 2023. The Irish government denies shelter to newly arriving asylum seekers. A protest camp is established and offers Sami, Simon, and Hasiballah temporary refuge. Though built from bulky waste, they make the most of it. But the situation is precarious: a self-proclaimed “citizen journalist”, conducting his right-wing smear campaign live on Twitter, sets a spiral of violence in motion.
The film is part of the short film programme Nordic Shorts 3: On the Margins.
