Ada gets a degree with distinction, but her father does not show up to the graduation ceremony. They live parallel but detached lives in poor circumstances. Ada placidly assists in selling her father's contraband cigarettes until she begins to rebel against his aloofness. A portrait of a tender, albeit gruff, relationship in which the inability to communicate has catastrophic consequences.
The film is part of the short film programme Nordic Shorts 1: Men, Might & Motherhood.
