The disgruntled customers in line at the fish counter are gloomy. But as soon as the supermarket closes its doors for the night, the secret life of the fish begins. Diligently draped across the ice, they strike up their melancholy song. They sing of inequality and loneliness, dream themselves back to the freedom of the ocean, and unburden themselves of all-too human problems and longings.
The film is part of the short film programme Nordic Shorts 5: Chilled.
