With his stage career a thing of the distant past, our protagonist now only dances to Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” for the cows of the local butcher. His reward is just a few sausages every day, but he desperately needs them to pacify his aggressively demanding dog apartment landlord. He chain smokes as he sleepily navigates the monotonous day to day in a ruined, surreal world.
The film is part of the short film programme No Strings Attached – Short Puppet Animations at KOLK 17.
