Filmforum, Germany 2015, 15 Min., no dialogue

Däwit’s mother has sent him away to protect him from his father’s violence. Growing up among wolves, he becomes a man who is weary of life. Setting out in search of his own identity, he endures a journey full of hardship, but ultimately finds peace. For this unusual animated film, David Jansen and Sophie Biesenbach drew 11,000 individual images in classic woodcut style.
